Might just be personal Opinion but I see it as Why sell off a card that gives me another option should I wish it at some point.

My answer to that question: Because an upgraded Basilisk Blood is 6.5 times cheaper in quantum and runs less risk of wasting a ton of quantum.

If your Nymph gets Rewinded (Rewound?), that's a wasted 9 quantum AND a -1 card draw. With today's metagame run by Rainbow decks, it's common to see Eternity floating around. If you wanted to re-play the Nymph, that's 18 quantum you've already spent on it.

I feel like I would only use it if the cost was 1 quantum to use its effect, and even then I would be leery to play it.

Auburn nymph can be awesome, freeze a creature for 6 turns, then if you have a grav shield they cant attack you after they are un-frozen....  Light nymph can also be useful if used with miracles. I would say all the nymphs are great, some (turquoise, Grey, etc.) have more obvious and varying uses.

I also thought about it going well with Gravity Shield, but it still doesn't help it enough. The more I look at it, the more I think that it is the most useless Nymph...

Clearly you've never been locked down by a squid. She's a squid that 6congeals things in a mono earth deck. If anything it's one of the more OP nymphs.

Those Squids are not nearly as costly though. Even its ability costs one less quantum. You can throw them out early game with ease, whereas you might have to wait a few turns to throw out the Nymph.

Again, this is all just my opinion. Until I see an Earth Nymph work effectively in a mono earth deck (or even a duo deck), I will continue to think that it's one of the lesser, or single worst, Nymphs.

What mono-deck can use nymphs right now? :P

Besides, have you thought of how insane it would be when immortal? It's a way to get rid of 6 creatures at one time, and it cannot be killed or stalled (0 attack won't hit procrast or fire shield), while the ability is one more than the cost to congeal, it has double the effect. The starting price isn't too important (Still is, not disagreeing with you there), but an easy solution is to take a high tower count, which mono-earth needs anyway to pay for shrieks and drags.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

mmm all  nymphs are useful but the light nymph and the earth nymph no too much
Light nymph is a 9|9.

Earth nymph is like arctic squid but for six turns, it can single handedly juggle freezing your opponents entire field.

Sort of surprised no one has mentioned the entropy nymph.  I made a duo-pillar deck with it that can take down false gods ~30% of the time.  Still working on improving it though as it takes way too long to do that, and requires all upgraded cards.  If I can get it a little better tuned I'll post it for further help.
