So even though I may have a low score compared to many other people here but I know my way around a bad deck.  In my time since I started playing I have made several bad deck tat don't work due to too many eggs in one basket for example your team is based around mind gate but you only have aether pillars and only have the aether mark.  You won't get anything good out of this sort of deck.  Some decks don't have enough quanta to support their spells and creatures for the synergy in order to overcome that problem though check out the quanta index article ( http://elementswiki.co.cc/articles/using-quanta-index-qi-for-short/ ).  Decks have a few ways to play a deck, Rush, Stall, Speed Draw, and Everything.  Most decks need to follow one of these 4 rules deck "sets".  Now its time for you to come up with an idea and start to test it.  Try to follow 1 of these 4 deck sets but if you can find find a mix match of 2 or 3 of them or even come up with your own deck "sets".
You need to discover what could work, come up with an idea any idea.   Then to find out if your deck idea is good or bad make sure you go to the resources section and go to the trainer.  Find a Calculator or a sheet of paper.  Get 10,000 Electrum.  Buy all the cards you need and then find out how much electrum you have left.  Go and Test out your deck against every single level twice.  If you win the majority of you games with the new deck go back to your account and grind, grind, grind.  The best Idea in order to keep from building a bad deck is to keep with what you are good at.  This is my honest opinion so if you disagree try to change my mind and you will have helped me and everyone else who reads this from building a bad deck.

Sounds great, and make sure your deck has a pupose also when making a deck.

All the newbies should see a paragraph like this when they register. I can't count how many times I've needed to tell a newb to make a deck with a clear purpose. (those that listened to me loves their new deck; those that didn't continued to fail...hard)

Noobies are so surprised when I revise their deck a bit to do just one thing and it works 100 times better.

Yeah, this one dude was so happy that I turned his death-dark random duo (just a bunch of creatures everywhere, really) to a simple death rush. He didn't like the way death-dark worked, so I did the next best option.

Two things to the OP, first, use the trainer to test ideas out; its what its there for.  Also, having an eye on the probabilities and order of which you need cards is important.  In a Dive deck, if you draw your Blessings before a Pegasus, well, they're likely dead cards for the time being.
