Just a question on the Jade Staff + Adrenline combo- is it scripted, or designed, to work so that the person running the combo gets a major increase in life? To me it seems outside of the intent, or written description, of the staff as it is only suppose to give 5 hp "at the end of the turn" and not whenever it hits an opponent.
Read my analysis on Adrenaline. It gives a creature multiple turns in the space of one turn. Flying Druidic Staff experiences four turns, and each turn it heals you for 5 HP, so in total it heals you for 20 HP.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Besides, the whole "good card vs. bad card" debate is a foolish one.  If it's a tutorial we're writing, shouldn't we explain the confusing cards first?  That's why I voted cremation, it has TONS of strategy, and a nooby can benefit greatly from reading it's article.

Man, I wish I had known about this when I started.  Back then, I thought Earth was the weakest element, with crappy cards like graboid, thought sundials were pointless, and I couldn't understand why in the world ANYONE would bother with quantum pillars.

I did read the analysis and understood what you were saying, as well in the other forums on adrenline,  but my question was whether or not that was the intention not the end result. It feels more of a glitch than something meant to be used in such a way. If it was meant that way, cool beans. Just curious since the card does not read that way to me. I'll post something more in the other forums before I detract this thread any further.

That is the intended behavior. The healing effect is activated multiple times due to Adrenaline.

The main reason I think that it is intentional is that it works in all other cases as well, such as being frozen/delayed, or more annoyingly infected (4 damage taken per turn...) :P. One use you didnt mention, though it is rather unwieldy, is to use stoneskin/earth nymph on an adrenalined oty/scarab to let it eat almost anything once the delay ends 2 turns after it is cast. But yeah thats a kind of specific case, but hilarious to use :P.

It's not Stone Skin, it's Basilisk Blood. And that combo would require :gravity :life :earth, which won't work exactly well.

Err yeah sorry forgot the name, but yeah. I know its unwieldy as I said but I have seen someone do it before and it did work. It requires 3 elements, but only a little bit of each so one with a mark and a couple towers of the other makes it possible, with mostly gravity towers/creatures. Its not a great deck but just another use that is kind of fun/funny to use :P.

Holy sh!t, this is close! Immolation has 11 votes, but Phoenix has 12! :o

The featured card has been chosen!

Phoenix | Minor Phoenix

Since Phoenix is a relatively new card, I haven't used it for as long as I did for the other cards. If you can think of anything that should be added to the analysis, please post them. I need all the help I can get.

Right now, when I see Phoenix, I think of "hard-to-kill rush creature that can be Fractal'd and Immolated". Anything else?

If you kill it on the turn it comes out ash does not get summoning sickness.

Well, It fails when using it against the AI3 that has vultures and a fire shield  :))

It isn't hard to kill, but hard to get rid of.
Also, when it is killed, the ash is considered 'played' that turn, so when your opponent kills it, you have to wait one extra turn before you can use the ability.
