I haven't written the analysis for Flying Weapon because... well... Darn, I think I'm out of excuses this time

Oh well. Since that article is going to be the one I submit for the Trial of Darkness, I'm allowed extra days to work on it, right?

As for this week's poll, my choice is split among three cards: Hourglass, Eternity, and Sundial. Yes, the OBVIOUS ones.

On that note, Bloodshadow, are you planning to use some of the analysis already there on those pages? (Xinef, Kael Hate, and I wrote the 'details' for the cards you listed as your choice for the First Trials) I'd be happy to assist you in giving you some tips/an idea for the article if any of the Time cards win (excluding Golden Nymph), especially if it's one of the ones I did (Fate Egg, Sundial, and Turtle Shield respectively).

But yeah. I'm rooting for the Hourglass, Eternity, or Pharaoh. Those just scream 'EPIC' to me. ^_^

I guess I could offer my help (see two posts above for potentially 1/12 of your writing, if interested).
Flying weapon is one of the few cards that have been voted for by the community, that I agree deserves to be a featured card, which is the reason I'm offering  .

As much as I'd love to vote for Fate Egg it would probably be too difficult to write about.
So Deja Vu is next, being the only card which doubles ALL of its buffs. I'm excluding dive creatures as they dont copy momentum/immortality/adrenaline.
(Pharaoh is awesome too, and possibly Procrastination)

I voted for Scarab just because it's so awesome, but if Eternity wins I could help because it has so many uses and synergies that none of the articles or "strategy tips" I've seen so far cover it throughly. Of course Kael Hate pointed out some of the important ones in his tips (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5860.msg70474#msg70474), but I'd add at least a bit about these:

• Eternity is the nemezis of flying weapons (except glories) allowing you to restrict your opponent to the one he's holding in his weapon slot.
• Eternity + Procrastination combo preventing 2 enemy creatures from ever using their activated abilities.
• Eternity Lock on False Gods (ie. if a False God is holding 7 cards in his hand he draws only 1 card each turn so is easier to lock with a single eternity, but you can also lock a False God by rewinding a mark-powered creature to deny him all quanta of that one element (eg. rewinding a Forest Spectre of Elidnis denies her all quanta)). Using even a single flying eternity helps significantly though.
• Eternity + mutation to totally get rid of creatures (unless they turn into an immortal or burrowed one)
• Eternity + Shard of Readiness, good if you are afraid of shortages. Add a PU and you can easily make an Eternity-Trinity-Deck
• And of course a great synergy with all healing cards, if you can deny your opponent a possibility to play any more creatures, you might need some healing to outheal the remaining ones. A simple Eternity+some shield+6 x SoG combo is a powerful defensive base for any FG deck.

I'm voting Precognition. Seeing your opponents hand, if you use this in a deck with multiple strategies, makes it so you can better fine tune your strategy for a specific game, and the card draw allows you to get he cards you need to to that better. You can also use it to make essentially a 24-card deck, and it's cheap, so it's easily playable in a rainbow.

Hourglasses always sneak their way into rainbows, hmm i wonder why? They make any deck significantly smaller and are one of the most powerful permanents available. Having an early hourglass in any match can often guarantee a win. It's no wonder that the AI targets hourglasses over nearly every other permanent (unfortunately, i think eternity is the only one, or one of few that it targets first =P).

I guess it would be fine if eternity won.
