Weekly Featured Cards poll - Light

The new poll is up. I actually see quite a few good choices for this one: FFQ, Flying Weapon, OE, Unstable Gas, Wings...


What shield has such ludicrously strong defensive power that it can block up to 23 damage from every single attack?

Just making it noticeable of what I was pointing out.



I believe it is 24 with upgraded Hope. 1+7+8+8=24

Good work, but I don't think you should include Photon as synergy unless you include all non-skilled creatures.

 You should make more mention of it being immaterial then a tiny notice in the quick facts section i think.

i chose olws eye. due to the fact that its the best cc card in the game. seriously, its 3 damage on a stick. animate and wings were close runners up.

I choose Shockwave. It is the only card in the game that can kill an opponents creature no matter how high it's health is. Sure it has to be combined with another element for it to work, but with 4 damage at minimum, it can take out half the creatures in the game instantly anyways without it. I find it a great card to use, especially in a deck with Arctic Squids

You forgot Mutation's 10%.   

I chose Shockwave, too.  Mainly because of the aesthetic of shattering a frozen creature and the "thwump" noise it makes.

First off - thank you Bloodshadow for writing another wonderful analysis on the featured card of the week. Hope looks ready to go!

That said, I voted Flying Weapon. The fact that each element's rare weapons can be even more effective when played in multiples just shows how many synergies it can create. Want to rewind two creatures that a False God plays over and over again, denying him of getting more cards unless he uses Hourglasses? Flying Eternities. Huge amounts of poison stacking? Flying Arsenics. Invulnerable creatures that deal a nice 8 damage on the get go? Flying Morning Glories. Weapons that cannot be stopped in terms of shields AND makes a wonderful target for Gravity Pull to absorb damage? Flying Titans. The list goes on and on...

i'm torn between FFQ and flying weapon
tbh i think FFQ should be in (coming from M:tG background, green- the color of life/nature/creature/token etc)
weapon as weekly featured card is lame because each rare weapon is unique and deserve their own article just by virtue
so i'm gonna go with Flying Weapon

I know, but is it that important to point it out? The difference between 23 and 24 is trivial, and not many people upgrade Hope anyways. Adding it in will just clutter up that sentence.

The template requires me to list both the regular and upgraded version of the card. Maybe I could say "Ray of Light (upgraded only)" instead of "Photon | Ray of Light", or something like that.

Do I really need to go into detail in explaining what Immaterial does? Also, other than in Quick Facts, I mentioned it in two more places.

I like UG and Wings, since together they can stall out and then win! I voted for UG, surprised only 1 person voted for Wings.
