The last duel of the second Water Trials.  It was Nilsieboy and I, and the score was 4-4 because I just couldn't find a deck to whomp Nils' Mindgate/Ice Bolt Stall.  I chose an Earthquake Rush, and drew a God-awful hand.  We played it out round by long, painful round, and I had to choose between EQing his Aether Pilllars and keeping him from using Mindgate and his Water Pillars to keep him from building up for his Ice Bolts.

I won, barely, by EQing the Aether and forcing him to choose between offense (i.e. Mind Gate) or defense (i.e. Phase Shield.)  My heart hasn't beaten that hard (outside of a few choice Boy Scout mid-wilderness disasters) in my life. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Those duels were epic 927. I shall elaborate because they truly were the most epic elements moments. (Btw, SHUT rules were no creatures over 3 attack)

Duel 1: He used a Water/Fire duo deck (I think the same one in his vid), and I used a flying Owl's Eye deck. He destroyed my first Owl's Eye with a deflag, and played some Steam Machines. I slowly flew three Owl's Eyes and killed his critters, but he killed them all off with fire shield. At the end, I had one Owl's Eye slowly dealing damage, and I killed him when I had 4 hp left.

Duel 2: Watch it.

Duel 3: He used a poisonbow with other creatures like frogs, while I used a firestall. I told him at the beginning of the duel that I had no chance at winning unless I had amazing draws. He got a couple poison counters on me, but I killed all his creatures with rage pots and fire shield. I had a Farenhiet that did damage. Eventually, I was turn away from losing, and he had around 50 hp. I had one fire bolt in my hand, and I thought I was going to lose, but I had enough fire quanta to kill him if I drew another one. Guess what? I got extremely lucky and drew one for the win.

Best 3 matches I've ever played.
