Hi, been lurking around here for... Oh, a good hour or so, and decided to register xD Anyways, with that out of the way, there was something that's been bugging me for a while now. What does flying do in the game? Like a Crimson Dragon has flying as a passive ability, what does that mean? From what I can see, it doesn't really act any different than other cards... Also, I've only been playing for a few days, so sorry if the answer's obvious  :D

Right now, the passive skill "airborne" only affects one card:

zanzarino (the developer) hinted that other cards in the future may also use "airborne".

flying(airborne) is a relatively new passive skill it doesn't do much right now except let you get passed the wings shield. there will most likely be new additions to the game that will make this skill more useful, But only Zanz knows for sure.

Another thing is what's the point of the pendulums? Just to get another type of ether as well as your main with just a single card? I've seen a lot of T50 using them rather than the pillars/towers and I don't see any other point... Then again I use a mono-fire at the moment so.. >.>

Two reasons:

1)  To give you a consistent supply of alternating quanta without having to throw in multiple types of another pillar.

2)  Pendulums matching your mark function exactly like pillars.  If your opponent tries to target your pillars with Earthquake and you have 2 pillars and 1 pendulum out, then this means that not all of your quanta  sources have been wiped out.

In monos the only purpose of using Pendulums is to split your stack into 2, so that Earthquake has 2 targets and is less devastating.

In duos where you would use an even amount of each element pendulums increase reliability.  For instance if you needed both Water and Earth, with just pillars all your :water may be at the front of the deck and all your :earth at the back.  A pendulum makes it so you have ½ :water and ½ :earth in one card, making you less prone to bad draws.  In this example though Earthquake would have a stronger effect.

You will also notice a lot of ninjas on this board.  ( ;) willng3)

Haha I was wondering about that XD Maybe I should look into getting a few then... More than a few times today while grinding A.I. 3 I've gone up against an earth deck where he locked me down with about 3-4 earthquakes in a row >.<

Yeah.  I should have went to the Wiki.  I took it from the Wings thread in the Air cards board which was originally the In Development thread.  That was the prototype, but still answers the question.
