Arena rating calculation

Sorry, it this was raised earlier, but I am a little bit confused...
Using the leader board rating I calculated Silver league multipliers (Rating=Win Multiplier*Wins-Loss multiplier*Losses, right).
I figured Win multiplier should be 12, after all:
febo   0   1   0   12
I also figured out the loss multiplier should be 20, as there are bunch of players with 1 and 1 and their ranking  is -8
So, Rating=12*wins-20*losses
So how come:
 justinlr   2   16   9   24
His/her  rating should be 12, not 24
There are also other similar examples

Am I missing something?

Indeed, this is a pretty common question regarding the Arena. You're missing the fact that the rating calculation is dynamic. Check this link (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,30879.0.html) for a detailed explanation.
