I got bored today and decided to work on a step by step guide starting at the beginning and leading to building a false god counter-deck. I was trying to come up with a fast AI3 counter-deck to farm with without having to spend a bunch of extra money. I found, that in some cases, it's actually better to start with the fire deck and sell it all and buy the cards you want, rather than start with the deck element you want. Here is the value of each element if you sold your whole starter deck:
Death- 659
Life- 647
Aether- 668
Time- 799
Gravity- 700
Entropy- 656
Darkness- 859
Light- 695
Water- 653
Fire- 864
Air- 638
Earth- 648
I found it interesting, so thought I'd pass it along.

Interesting. I suppose you'd want to figure in the cost (100) of changing your mark if you had another mark in mind that you wanted to switch to.
Yeah. More often than not, you'll pick the element you want to be, but if you the deck you want to create is cheap enough, fire is the best option to maximize coinage.

Since SG was nice enough to do the work for me ;D , I'm not planning on posting the guide. Use SG's. It's better anyways. I will though offer a couple of alternatives to some of her decks when I get the chance. But it won't change anything drastically.

I hope this information makes it to the elements wiki eventually, very useful!

Have you finished work on your original concept? I've gotten a couple of friends into the game and I'd love to have something like the guide you were discussing to refer them. Put a link in here whenever you post it, if you would be so kind. Thanks!
I didn't know about this project and it seems like I beat him to it (sorry!). http://elementstheforum.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,588.0.html (http://elementstheforum.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,588.0.html)
I wish I hadn't. Doing that damn thread and starting all over again with a new account was a very painful process.
