General element discussions? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=6212.msg63725#msg63725

In the cards area, or maybie even a new area for elements theirselves. I cameup with this when I tried to comment on time itself, as an element. And since there aren't any topics about elements, i'll tell it here.

Time is nothing more than an order in wich we sequence events in our mind, so i guess it makes it a poor element (no offense, I just told it how it is).

And the same with fire! Nothing more than a mix of hot gas and light! It's just aggresive oxsidation!

What about darkness? A lack of light! nothing more!

Light? a result of a chemical reactian! comes along with heat!

Death? Not being able to live anymore! End of life!

Life? A lucky mix of heat lightnings and minerals! It is a quincidence!

Air? Mix of gasses...

must i go on? But i guess that the elements included in elements the game are the best ones I could think of, none are better so...

Aether? Something that most of the modern scientist believe does not exist.

But I'd rather say that time is a very specific dimension, unique when compared with width, height and depth... though only from our perspective. For beings that live out of time-space continuum there is little difference between these dimensions.

As for light I'd rather say it's something about photons... which are very interesting in that from their perspective time and space shrink to a point (or a plane, I'm not sure... I'm not a photon myself) because of their speed... equal to speed of light :P

Life... I believe there can be life not based on water and carbon. I'd even say computers and robots could be called a form of life... if only their thinking processes were more complicated than additions, reads and writes to memory... but they are so simple, so I guess it might not be enough to give them consciousness :P
May the force of the D4HK side be with U ^_^

Time as a dimension is unique, so are the 5th, the 6th, the 7th... dimensions. BUT that would be qualified as aether. hey, I'm just saying...

Material Energies - Earth (Solid), Fire (Diffusion the direct connection between solid to gas), Air(Gas), Water (liquid)
Transversal Enegies - Life (Coherent Energy), Gravity (Internal Energy), Death (Incoherent Energy), Entropy (External Energy)
Logical Energies - Time (defined), Light (positive), Aether (infinite), Darkness (negative).

thank you. Good thinking btw... But i still want to discuss the elements alone.
Who's nwith me?!

What is there to discuss? Elements are rules of state that affect all matter and perception of matter.

I usually consider Fire to be plasma, the fourth and most energetic state of matter.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

I naver got the "plasma" state... I always tougth it was more of a "electricaly charged" energetic state.
