Do the fireflys produced by a queen affect the hope shield? For that matter, what of upgraded photons?

Yes. The unupgraded version, at any rate; the upgraded version produces :fire.

Not quiet all I'm doing, that would be really vunrable to oty-things, and not to strong on attack, to mention RoF. It is a defense portion of my deck though. And imagine an upgraded shield from the earth element, that would stop me. I'm adding in one queen, two maximun, only to help with my deck. Actually, I may not even need them.

To answer the second part, upgraded photons (Rays of Light) also affect the hope shield; further, they have the advantage of being free to play, although a bit weaker.
