It is sometimes now used to describe a single quanta type, as opposed to :rainbow which is any quanta type.
Ex.
9 :underworld can mean 9 :fire or 9 :death, but NOT 3 :entropy + 6 :life.

Underworld used to be a War team and World of Elements faction. It's primary use now is in the Card Ideas and Art forums, where it's used to denote quanta of a single element (for example, 6 :underworld could be 6 :water, 6 :death, or 6 :aether, but not any mix of them)
