First, I would like to thank the folks whose hard work made this game what it is. Bravo. This game is great.
Second, I found this game though Kongregate. The only reason I played it (at first) was to earn the badges. The first several quests were eaily accomplished in a day, the only one that was remotely difficult (at first) was defeating a false god.
Now that I have been playing for a short while, have 1K wins under my belt, and can build any deck that isn't nymph heavy (the oracle RARELY gives me a card) I find myself thinking back to how fun it was to have quests / objectives in the game.
The problem is, the quests are all easy, and there is no way to do them again unless you start a new account / play in trainer. There is no reason for me to try to make different decks radically different than my current one. All this had me thinking, wouldn't it be fun if there were some new quests, with challenges for established players?
So what kind of challenges could there be? Beat a false god with only 5 cards (max) in your hand. Beat a false god with only 50 health starting. Beat a false god with a mono deck. Beat a false god with no upgraded cards. Build a deck with 6 of (fill in the blank) card in it and beat a false god. There are all sorts of ways to challenge established players, but it would be neat to have challenges built into the game that would be difficult or challenging. Also, it might be neat to have a challenge where accomplishing it would let you win a nymph of your choice.
Just an idea.
