Things that don't make sense thematically

I thought it might be fun to list the things where we can understand the reason in terms of gameplay mechanics, but which don't actually make sense if you take the cards at face value.  So...

Creatures the size of single cells or smaller do 1 HP of physical damage every turn, whereas a scorpion does none.

Ingesting a virus does not infect a creature.

Airborne creatures drown in flooded areas.

There is no limit on how large a Condor can become.

If you use Reverse Time on a Skeleton, then it dies and becomes a Skeleton again, using Reverse Time a second time will almost certainly turn it into a different creature.

a creature without bones can turn into a skeleton.
A single creature can turn into 34(?) skeletons. (via mindgate on both sides, deflagging them at some point).
Photosynthesis can be used an infinite amount of times per turn, while there is definitely some time required for the process.
Using explosion on unstable gas does not cause it to explode.

This is for balance reasons--It's really easy to get quanta if you don't care what type it is. Any  creature worth playing could be abused with fractal/mitosis etc.

Since a singularity is the centre of a black hole, why don't Singularities and Black Holes share any of the same properties?

As a star must be 3-4 solar masses in order for a supernova to form a singularity, why does it only take 2 Supernovae to form one Singularity?

Novae will not cause a Singularity.

As there are no suns, what is it that's experiencing a Nova or turning into a Supernova?

When there is no source of light, what is causing Photons to exist?

When there are creatures emitting light, why do they not create Photons?

Why is a Ray Of Light not made out of Photons?

Why do Photons cause the same amount of physical damage as a virus and sundry other small creatures, yet still more than a scorpion?

Why doesn't getting rid of Nightfall/Eclipse revert Werewolves and Lycanthropes back to their weakened state?

Why doesn't touching an Antimatter creature cause you to explode?

I suppose I could see being outside of .  It does have the various immortal creatures and spells, and it the element concerned with other universes which could conceivably be outside of time.  Okay, I can go with that, yeah.
