The Puffer Fish Question

Hello. I am new to the forum. I need to know something. I made a deck once consisting of puffer fish and epinphrine. Well it works well but the problem with this is that the card description is "Venom: Add 1 posion damage to each successful attack. Cause poisoning if ingested." I think this card is a half a lie. When I use adrenaline it does four whole attacks, but only poisons twice. Why is that?

Because it was OP when it gave 4 poison/turn, so Zanz specifically nerfed it.

Hey Orion!

The 'lie' that you're describing is actually implemented that way intentionally. Instead of doing poison four times (the same amount of attacks), it only does two to prevent severe exploitation tricks with Pufferfish + Epinphrine (many consider having 12 damage (8 physical, 4 poison) to be overpowered). If you think about it, having multiple Pufferfish (in your deck or conjured by Fractal) with Epinphrine would make speed poison decks too strong and ridiculous to counter.

But yes, it only poisons twice, as desired by both the community and lead developers.
