The community is small, so it's easy to make a name for yourself. Whether it be by being very helpful towards newbies, posting awesome decks, participating in lots of PvP tournaments and events, or simply contributing meaningfully to discussions, you can make a name for yourself.
It takes time and effort, mind you. But if you really love the community it's easy to do.
