As the ratio between rare cards and normal cards gets closer to one, the rareness of rare cards decreases.  Right now we have two rares per element, plus arctic squid and miracle and the shards.  That's 28 rares in a game with only 161 cards in it.  So about 17% of all cards are rares.  And with weapons being such a vital thing, farms were bound to appear.

Option 5:  Leave as is.  Pretty self explanatory =/
It's fine the way it is.

Everything else on that list is creating artificial rareness.

If you read my post it says replace the spins with AI 3 spins. As to T50 spins they are spun from the deck used in the battle thats why Rare Farms work, so you need to understand how the mechanics of it go before you say remove rares from spins.

As to capitalize, in most forums any over large font is considered shouting so thankyou for your concern about capitalizing but thats not relevent.

Scyther
Of course I know that. T50 spins are spun from the deck used by the player, but if the player uses a Nymph, why wouldn't the Nymph be in the spin? Because they are replaced by another card that is sell-able but in no way useful. The same can be used here. If rare cards must be removed from all spins, including FG, then let there be a quest where you can gain a rare with a different spin mechanism, and you get one spin per FG kill. There would be a small chance to get any rare in the first place. Either this, or just have a seperate spinner for FG kills for the rares the FG has.

I don't know what strange forums you go to, but I personally am a member of probably a few dozen forums, and in not one of the forums do large letters mean shouting. They usually point out words of importance- in fact, even Scaredgirl uses it that way in her guides. (go take a look at one of her guides: if you think large letters mean shouting, then you will think that Scaredgirl loves to shout every other paragraph.) Shouting is almost always used by using either capital letters or lots, lots, and lots of exclamation points.

What's so "rare" about rare cards if every other card is "rare"?

Exactly my point.

Why have rare cards at all?

I understand this from MTG or other TCGs where they're trying to make money.  Rarity drives the market.  But this is a complete game and there is no trading -- there is no market.

Let the rarity come from the ways you get the cards (higher lvl AI, oracle, etc.), but just because the ratio between common and rare is becoming closer to one doesn't mean you have to adjust anything, it just means that the players have played a lot (which is a good thing).

If anything, it just means you need new players and/or new cards.

Ah, you misunderstand.  I'm talking about the types of rare cards, not the amounts owned by players.

I would have no problem what so ever making rares actually rare again IF, and only if, rares werent a necessity.  Some rares, such as eternity and pulv, you absolutely NEED to have in certain decks. so make rares rare again but tone them down.

How about having a rare time where rare card is for sale at the market a a random timing every day and only 1 can be bought?

I wonder if it would be possible to do away with spins all together and you simply have a chance of receiving cards at the end of the match with a straight percentage much like the percentages Scyther gives in his first post. You would have a chance to receive a maximum of three cards from the cards in the deck, so even with a rare farm if you won a card you would in all likelihood get a tower because you only have a 12% or receiving a rare regardless of how many are in the deck.

Ok so now I understand what you meant. I was after clarification rather than big lettering saying what you want.

I find this answer a lot easier to get a grasp of and now respect and hear what you have to say.

My apoligies if you thought I was having a go at you. Your reason for doing it was so people would notice your post. We notice the post anyway and would love to talk about what ideas you have in mind for dealing with the issue at hand rather than the size of your font. I have removed my posts from this thread for you so we can start again.

As to your point I think you are right now. If nymphs can be replaced with Relics then why can't other rares? Although I would suggest that rares have a 95% chance of being replaced or something like that so you may still get one but you would be incredibly lucky to rather than get one as a simple spin.

As to the strange forums I go. SG only  uses it to highlight what she is talking about as a heading. She then goes on to fully explain her position. If you had put the above text with your Heading I would completly understand what you are saying.

Once again I apoligise if I have taken the wrong end of the stick with you.

Thankyou

Scyther

Actually I would like to see new rares being introduced into the game, right now there isn't enough collector's cards out there for the more hardcore players, I don't care whether it's a brand new card or a old one with a different artwork.

I would go for Option 3. I would really like to see more cards in the game. :)
