How your score works...? pvp1 vs pvp2

I have been playing a lot of pvp1 and my score has dropped A LOT.

I would say on average I am only winning 50% of the time.

My score was 82k, it has dropped over 1k after about 15 games. I am losing on average 79 score per loss because I am playing people with scores of 500-10k.

As I understand it your score and reward are based on the difference between you and your opponent. If you are both equal, the reward is moderate. If you have a much lower score, your reward is very large. If you have a much higher score like me in pvp1, then your loss is also quite large.

Okay so if that is all true and I understand correctly, I am basically being punished for playing pvp1. If I play pvp 2 versus people more in my score range I don't lose score so hard. But when I am forced to use unupped cards and be on basically equal footing with noobs, I suffer a lot.

I am just wondering if the way pvp1 rewards are calculated could be changed since I basically go onto equal footing with noobs?

tbh I don't really like the score system in pvp in general, since the same thing happens in pvp 2 a lot and it's very likely someone with 10k score will have access to the same cards someone with 50k score will.

I don't like the pvp score system either, if I lose a pvp2, it's likely I'd lose over 100 score
Even though most of the time it's just: oh (s)he uses that deck, I'm almost certain to (win/lose)
I which case there's not a lot I can do against losing.

I think using score is fairly arbitrary. I used to PVP2 a lot for fun, but I don't anymore now that my score is higher, since even a winning record will usually result in my score dropping. You can just look at the war applications and see that you can have tons of experience and upgraded cards but have a low score. The only thing score measures is your commitment to raising it, and that has nothing to do with PVP. Or anything actually gameplay related.
