I remember that losing vs newbies in PvP1 lowered your score a lot. I dont know if this still happens.

Maybe it's that I fight platnum so much.  seems like 1 win >>> 5 losses.

Generally the amount of electrum won/lost is the same as your score change.
it's a little different in the arena where it's this minus five (although i think zanz considers this a bug or at best an "undocumented feature" and it will change in 1.31)
so typically for plat a win may give a score increase of say 90 - 180 but a loss only reduces it by 20

if he tries to farm FG, using a not-so -consistent deck, i think judging by the score it's possible
For me, i created farming deck in PvP for others and my score dropped to....but still managed it above 200,000
