This is all in growth so we can change things on the fly until the group likes what we have. By default Strategic CCG games have a turn based structure where players may take 1 action within a given period. If things go well we might get the turn period down to 1 a day.
I think 1 day is way too short. Even the most active players take day offs, and people skipping turns because they were offline might make the whole event a bit lame. 48 hours should be the absolute minimum when requiring forum action.

As for where to play this.. well, "Forum Games" sounds like a logical choice to me. Not sure how big this is supposed to be, but I'd guess it can be run in one thread if the organizer keeps updating the first post. I'm not going to make this "official" and give it its own section until I know what it is and it has been successfully tested.

Anyone else care to post a deck set like I have and I'll make the start of the map.

Maybe you should clarify the rules a bit? I mean, if I had to post a deck here, I wouldn't know were to start. Can it be just any deck?

Do we need access to some of the cards from the decklist on our actual account?
If not, count me in  :P

Creating a decklist seems way too complicated.
Back just for Mafia.

So I just need to clarify some things. If you attack someone elses territory, you play them with a deck made from any cards from any territories you own? And if they win, they take over that territory? Kind of like war? I'm just not sure how to set up in the first place.

Deck rules

Any 50 cards.
Divide the cards up into 10 groups of 5.
Choose a mark to go with each group.

These are your territories and the stock of cards you may build your deck from.
Upped and Basic cards are Equivalent and mey be freely swapped when building decks if you actually have that card on yout account.

Yeah, you fight those with territores touching yours.

This is just a starting project but it looks like interest is good.

Ok, that makes more sense I think i get it now. I'll probably post my decklist tomorrow and you can correct me if i do something wrong. Basically i want groups of cards that could make coherent decks with any 6 of them, that's the goal?

can i play too? i'm a bit confused on the rules but hopefully they'll be clarified...also, are there any vault-type restraints? (i.e. could I use the same deck on all my territories if i wanted) also, do we need to specify upped or unupped or may we change to our liking?
