Starter Deck Sell Rates https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=24639.msg313967#msg313967

(Sorry if this has been posted before, in which case it can be removed)

I guess this piece of information is vital to anyone who wants to make a near perfect account.

So as everyone knows, the starter decks are near useless, because they try to encourage deck building. So why not just sell them and build a totally different deck  :P So here below are the sell rates for the starter decks:

Earth - 650  :electrum
Air - 651  :electrum
Fire - 648  :electrum
Water - 649  :electrum
Light - 695  :electrum (!)
Darkness - 873  :electrum (!!!)
Entropy - 656  :electrum
Gravity - 702  :electrum (!)
Time - 802  :electrum (!!)
Aether - 694  :electrum (!)
Life - 636  :electrum
Death - 660  :electrum

(!) - Means it's a little above the average (650-60)
(!!) - Means it's a noticeable amount higher than the average
(!!!) - :o

So it seems Darkness, surprisingly, has the best sell rate for the starter deck, followed by Time (Another thing that may link these two outliers is that Time's secondary element is Darkness).

The method I used was to select each element in the trainer, pick out the ten highest quantum cost cards, sell them, buy 30 quantum pillars, replace the remaining 30 cards with the quantum pillars, and sell the remaining cards. After the total is found, add 180 to it (The cost of 30 quantum pillars) and viola, there's the sell rate.

Just a tidbit of info for newer players that want to get the best out of their starter decks, and for older players that want to attempt to make a perfect account.

(Note: After looking at Darkness's cards in the bazaar, I found out that the cards are much more expensive than others, which may be the cause why.)

I guess the next step is to find the best deck to buy and whether to attempt AI3, AI5, or FGs grinding first. More than likely it's AI3, as grinders for those AIs have a much more consistent win rate and matches are generally much faster, but who knows...

Darkness - 873  :electrum (!!!)
Just another reason why Darkness is awesome.

That's wierd how Darkness cards cost more than everyone else's. Anyone know why?

Probably because they have the highest cost/sell ratio in the bazaar, which would equivocate to the highest sell rate for the deck.

Thanks for posting, as I was going to bump it, lol.

As most know, card prices between elements are pretty much only affected by the quanta cost of the card (although the influence quanta cost has on a single card's individual price is rather low). Darkness cards have higher quanta costs, probably because you're not getting the stuff Darkness can do without paying the price. :P

I guess lots of people don't use darkness as mark
So its starter deck has the highest sell cost to encourage them...

Good table, but it does ignore one thing: picking an element because of its high starter sell value does not take into consideration what starter deck you actually want to play.  Selling cards and then buying others wastes electrum... if you are planning to set out running a Life rush or Graboid deck, you are better off picking Life or Earth and selling off only the cards you don't need.  If you sell your entire starter deck, you are then forced to buy cards.
