Stalemate? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7985.msg89831#msg89831

Well after playing alot of matches where I was forced to deck out the false god, I asked myself: What if this false god had an eternity? My question is have you ever played a PvP match that was impossible to finish, and if so what happened?

The computer plays more intellegent now, so he can use the Eternity to prevent decking out.

Thats not his real question

His real question was about pvp

Well if it seems impossible for a match to not win there are a few things that could happen

1. One player might be holding a bolt spell which they will kill the enemy with
2. One player might rage due to the time loss, AI would take over and probably lose
3. Desync might happen
4. The players come to a conclusion where one person purposely loses the game

Now if they both have an eternity out one person might die eventually but it'll more likely be raging, desync, or an agreement

I've played couple of "infinite" matches.
I usually quit those, I'm here to enjoy myself, not to see who can click the same pattern more without getting his nerves raped. 2 or 3 times, my opponent quit before me though.

Also, as I see the term imported from other games, and so stupidly used all over the forum, not every quit is a rage quit. Only rage quits are rage quits. Keyword: RAGE.

The only time i've had an infinitely long match was during a screenshot competition where i avoided decking both myself and the AI every turn, so i purposely made it long. I managed to produce a 23,000 hp otyugh.. it turned out not being good enough =(

I think..
