Spin to Win? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=13632.msg171775#msg171775

Does anyone actually use the single "Spin" button after winning a game?  I always use the other "Spin All" button, then I blink when I win a card and miss what it was.  So I've got two suggestions for this:

Suggestion First:  Replace the "Spin" button with one that spins until you win (or run out) - I call it the "Spin to Win" button for short.  I donot suggest replacing "Spin All", since most of us are used to it and would probably be upset when we didn't use all our spins in one click.

Suggestion Second:  Keep a list of won cards displayed on the page so you can see what cards you've won after the spinning is over.

These ideas are not exclusive and additional commentary is welcome.

Oh yeah I miss what I win often.

I do not suggest changing it, I barely get what you mean.

But yes, just a bar with the cards you won last would be nice. It can be anywhere, even in your inventory.

Well I find the spin button to be useless, and wouldn't mind it being omitted. I personally don't always care about what I win, but a list of what you've won wouldn't be bad to have, since I've once (yes exactly once, in over seven thousand games) had that I won a card, but just couldn't find out what I won afterwards :(.

I guess I wasn't quite clear on the point of the spin to win button.  The idea is that if you have 3 spins, you click the stw button and the dials spin like this:

First Spin:  If you don't win, automatically spins again.  If you won, stops spinning so you see what you won and shows that you have 2 spins remaining.  You then have to click stw again (or spin all).

Second Spin: Same as the first, only if you won if only shows 1 spin remaining.

Third Spin: No remaining spins, so really at this point it's just like a normal spin all click.

Since someone would want to spin everything anyway, I suppose it's only a way to track what cards you've won, the idea was clear, but the second suggestion you made much more effectively reaches the goal of showing what cards were won in the end, without having to click more often. At least in my opinion that is.

Meh, unless I am spinning agasint FGs (even then, it's still "meh" for me) I just spin and move on. I only care about what I won when either I feel like upgrading or I hit the stoopid 3000 card limit and have to sell. Otherwise, I just keep a max of 12 copies per card and sell the rest when need be.

To be honest, for all those that grind, having more steps in the spinning process just makes grinding more annoying. I think maybe removing the single spin button is somewhat viable since I don't know of, or never heard of, anyone actually using the button often, if at all. The way the "spin all" button works right now is fine as far as I am concerned.

someone has mentioned this before.

The spin used to only be a 1 time thing and there was no spin all. Then Zanz implemented multiple spins and add the spin all button. That is why spin is still there.

But it does increase the tension if you use spin... I like your second suggestion better Donot - just list the card you won.
