Spell reflect shields ignore poison spell?

Very valid point and it makes since no targeting icon not a targeting spell .... now justify this as to why "immaterial/immortal" people are "untargetable" yet not even rain of fire or Thunderstorm which don't target but hit globally don't kill them?

It only reflects once, though, so it would bounce off theirs, yours, then hit them.

At least, I think that's what it does.

Good question. They also reflect Holy Light, but no Miracle. The reason being because Poison and Miracle don't target, like the other spells do. If you notice, when you click Fire Bolt, Ice Bolt, Drain Life, Lightning Bolt, or Holy Light, you're given the chance to select a target, and those are the spells that get reflected. Poison and Miracle don't let you select a target, they just happen.

That's a good point about the no cross-hair targeting on poison.  I'm sure your right that it is the mechanical reason it won't reflect.  I still think this was an oversite and that the poison spell should be reflected though.  In addition to making a whole lot more sense it might help to make the reflect shields something other than mostly worthless.

I agree with your agreement. However, I think that, to be fair, the reflecting shields would also reflect Miracle, too, if it were used by a player who owns a reflecting type shield. Also it should be noted that if BOTH players own reflecting shields, spells only reflect once, so if you want to Fire Lance someone with a Reflective Shield, and you have one too, just bounce it off of your own shield. o-o

Why are poison spells not reflected by reflection shields?  If they can reflect spell based lightning/fire/drain life/etc... then why not poison?

Lol.  On some sick level I like the idea of an eternaly reflecting firebolt just bouncing between players until you close the window.  That is how I would, (fail to,) program the game.
