I have a serious question how is a person to acquire shards becuse i would love to get the shards. And why is there not a shard that reacts to fire! :'(

You can win them from the Arena (either from special spins or from opponents who use them in their deck) or from some players who use them in PvP1 or PvP2.

There's another set of Shards being released in the next update for the rest of the elements who don't have a Shard yet, stay tuned for more news on those.

Shards can be won from PVP1, PVP2, and the arena. Arena would probably be your best bet.
Currently there are only  :death  :darkness  :entropy  :light  :life  :water  :time shards if I recall correctly. More shards will be released in further updates.
