Which card should I upgrade next?

instead of considering upgrading a single card, why don't you just save the  , make sure you find / build a decent deck and upgrade that all ( do this only if you have had a decent up-ped deck)
or else, just upgrade any, to me it doesn't matter. the choice will only determine whether you get to earn more  fast / slow

That's what I'm doing at the moment. I only have 1-2 fully upgraded decks (they share cards), waiting for the next really intriguing/effective deck idea and just going to upgrade it all at once

mind to share your 2 decks? I might not have that yet and would like to try. Btw, you can try a deck in the trainer 1st before deciding on owning 1

That's how I started. One deck at a time. I'm by no means a top tier player or anythin', but I'm sittin' with about 22 or 23 fully upped decks, after which I stopped 'fer a bit to catch up on/upgrade all the rares, an' now workin' my way through upping all that oracle counter stuff, as Yawn suggested earlier.

It's efficient.
