Then we would have to work twice as much for the cards, meaning we wouldn't play because it takes too much time. At least my friend wouldn't, and I would get cards much slower.
1-2 hours of playing for an upgraded card is a lot when you need 30 for a deck, and then there are the rares. The chance for winning those is very small, and it is completely random which one you manage to win if you win any.
My problem with all this is...the game gives the wrong idea to people. If you see you can open two instances of the game, you'll assume that it is safe to do so. I was lucky enough to read the forums, but others lost a lot of their work because it is not safe at all. I wouldn't have agreed to share my account if I would have known about this beforehand either.

A warning message would be an absolute minimum...even the bazaar gives you a warning when you are selling a rare card, and you can lose a lot more with this that just one rare.
Oh, by the way...I couldn't find a "Change Password" function, is there any?

They should just add pvp to the Trainer.  People who want to grind and earn their cards can do it.  Other people who just want to play can do that too.

Until Elements decides to not be a grinding game, I don't see this happening (shared client).

PvP in trainer will never happen. If you can click 'More Money' and buy/upgrade whatever you want, then use it to duel in PvP, what is the point of the actual game? That's what us folks in the real world call cheating.

I think it'd be useful if you could duel using the trainer... that way you can see how your deck idea does against the deck it's supposed to counter.

I fully support this.

Maybe you can log in to the trainer with your account, but anything in the trainer will not be saved. It cannot do PvP, but it can do PvP Duel.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Well, that's a nice perk to being in the top 50. You can build the deck you want in the live game, save it, then load up the trainer and play against yourself. I do that occasionally.

While I see the point of that, unless the client itself is preventing it, this isn't true, and shared clients already happened. People check if they can log in twice, see that they can, and then they will do it because grinding takes a long time and this can save some of that.
My friend is already using my account and at this point I can't do a thing about it. He earned way too many cards, including some rares, so I can't say "make your own" anymore. There is no card trading so I can't give the cards he earned to him even if he does make one. There isn't even a password change option that would make all of this possible.
I also see no reasonable way that could prevent people from sharing their accounts with each other. You can't install a retina scanner on the login screen or anything like that.
The only thing that can be done is denying login when the account is being used already. That way people have to think twice because they become unable to play while the other is playing, which balances out the gain of using the cards earned by the other person.
This, however, would be very important to implement as soon as possible because the approach of
"You shouldn't do it because you'll lose cards if you do, but the game won't tell you about that and will allow doing it anyway, you'll only realize after losing your cards" is not a right thing to do to the players.

Just to be clear, I was suggesting that the "pvp pools" wouldn't mix.  People in the trainer and the main game wouldn't be fighting each other.

People can grind or not grind if they want to.  It doesn't effect what anyone else is doing now.

I don't see the problem.

That would take lots of time to program, and it doesn't really improve the game at all. That's not a worthwhile time investment.

I agree with mizz here. I would bet a higher percentage of the players don't run two instances of the game at the same time, because it doesn't make much sense, same thing with the sharing of accounts. To add such a feature, it would take lots of time, and then people would start to complain about not being able to run two instances at the same time.

There used to be a big hole in the save feature that allowed for massive exploitation, but zanz fixed it, so there is now no reason to run two windows of the game unless you are playing on multiple accounts at once. If you play one account in two different windows, you will lose progress at some point. So go ahead, waste your time.

Great...you are so nice to new players who don't even know about this.
At least put a warning message on the login screen or something. Unless the game says you aren't supposed to do it, SOME PEOPLE WILL DO IT. Either by accident (leaving the window open then starting up the browser later again and playing there), or intentionally (Shared accounts). And unless the game says they aren't supposed to, it IS CONSIDERED A BUG, WHICH IS THE DEVELOPER'S FAULT, because players do nothing they aren't supposed to do.
Adding "Playing the game in multiple computers simultaneously from one account can result in lost progress" to the login screen is the absolute minimum you can do for your players, if you are too lazy or for some reason unable to check for double logins.

By the way, is there any way to split an account into two? Is there a way to change the password? No, so I'm stuck with sharing it. I'll solve the problem by limiting the time of the day when each of us can play, but you shouldn't intentionally let others waste their time when all it takes is a warning message.

(From the perspective of players...I lost a day of progress to a bug? He, they knew about about it and didn't fix it? Time to look for another, more stable game... I bet you don't want to lose players on this so put up that warning message!)
