Actually, these statistics are partially affected by bias.

Many people put their favorite element, or their team element in first place. And then what they actually thought for the next couple. Then as was stated in prior posts, random for the rest.

If you completely eliminated the 1st place votes, what would the stats look like?
(Well, maybe excluding  :fire and :entropy since those were the top 2 by far.)
