Not the point.  The game is fun, but acquiring the stuff to make it fun doesn't necessarily have to.  Again, there MANY fun options, but grinding is grinding, not entertainment.  Point is, Platinum is still the best option for score, and its very good (if not the best) for money.

Acquiring "the stuff" is part of the game.

If a game isn't entertaining, then isn't that a problem?  Surely the whole point of a game is entertainment?

Would the game be more fun if everybody started out with the trainer version? Probably not. Entertainment can't be measured, because it differs for everyone. However, I definitely support grinding-based games.

Grinding adds an element of acquisition to the game- if rewards were easy, it would get boring really quickly. But slowly building your cardpool and understanding? That's part of what I enjoy most about elements.

^^Very true. I haven't even started yet, tryin' to PVP. My game life consists of nothing ~but~ the grind at the moment. But every time I get another deck upped an' under my belt, I feel like I've accomplished something.
How come, when Bogie drinks during the day everyone thinks he's all sophisticated, but when I do it, everyone's just like "Get off our little league field!"?
