Relic Use...NOT OP...not very beneficial or cost-effective https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=9350.msg110387#msg110387

Lately we've seen a lot of posts about relics AND lots of posts about exchanging your nymphs...well, personally I didn't really like many of those ideas and the ones that I did I probably liked because they would benefit me the player but not necessarily the game so Zanz would be unlikely to put them in.  So, here's my suggestion:

You have a nymph, you don't like the element of it, you give up / sacrifice 8 relics and your nymph and you receive another nymph of a random element...essentially, you're sacrificing 1/3 of an upped card to change your nymphs color randomly, however you're using relics which is much more rare than like 520 electrum and you need 8 of them...

Comments? Concerns?

NEW IDEA:

Actually... playing a Relic (for zero quanta) and having it in play if you win should give you +20 Electrum.

I really like this idea... Relic could become a useless perm but if you have it in play at the end of the game you win extra electrum...maybe it could even cost 1 or 2 "other" quanta...upped relic would mean more electrum and/or maybe change in quanta pricing...this way you could only have 6 relics in a deck so there'd be no need to really farm them after you got 12

I remember Zanzarino saying in an interview that he doesn't want relics to have any use, so I doubt this idea would go, especially considering the fact that with such change relic farms will become very popular, as everybody suddenly will need a lot of relics.

The idea is a little good. I can't see zanz putting that idea in, if u could change ur nymph to a different color than nymphs wouldnt be as rare as they are now. I would like to see relic have a better use of the card like double the price of the card you intend to sell.

Should be 12 relics, just for internal consistency.  ;)

that's actually a good idea...like its a perm and if its in play at the end of the game you wen more electrum...max you can have in your deck is 6 so no need for farms...ok...scratch my idea
