reflective shields

Do reflective shield, such as emerald shields, reflect spells cast against your creatures, or only your life points?

Sadly, only your life points.  That means my poor froggies can still get struck by lightning with nothing to stop it without them being immortal.

Reflective Shield and Emerald Shield reflect:
Fire Bolt, Ice Bolt, Drain Life, Lightning, Unstable Gas.

Damage is reflected only once.

Not reflected:

Holy Light (fixed bug), Miracle, Poison.

a nifty trick though is that if you both have shields up then just cast it on yourself and it will target the opponent instead

Personally i find these sheids are useless for example people will stop targeting players and just target creatures making it harded to win, but you can regain life.

Both Shields are not useless.
They are good against Decay, Octane, and maybe Osiris.
The Mirror Shield is the best shield, mono light can use.
In Life Rush decks, Emerald or Jade Shield can be good, especially, if you fear, that your shield could be destroyed or stolen.
