Quantum randomness

happened to someone when you was using rainbow deck that you needed quantum that could save you, but Quantum pillars don't generated that quantum for several turns, but when was win impossible you get it?

It happened to me many times but not often.

That's just part of the double edged sword of quantum towers.  If you always got the quantum you wanted the towers would be OP, as they are the random factor levels the playing field.  If you need a certain quanta then use that pillar.

That said I have myself been flusterated waiting for that gravity quanta so I could eat the dragon that is kicking my butt.  LOL, all part of the rainbow deck.

Another fascinating example that I lost my screenshot of (that's what I get for initializing Picasa while taking screenshots) was against Decay.  Over something like nine turns, a crapload of Fractaled Pests ended up taking ALL of my quanta...except for my Aether quanta, which they randomly and utterly mysteriously NEVER TOUCHED until it was the only quanta that I had left.

/me shakes his head.

Bizarre.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

It happens. Because it happens. Because it has to, to someone sometime. Don't go worrying about it cos that'd be gambler's fallacy. Unless there's some evil conspiracy to it  ;)
On a separate note I swear Decay is a cheat. And so is infernet's T50.

This is been talk about many times in the past.

It's random because it's random. The fact that you don't always get a specific quantum is because it's random.

If you want non-randomness, you have to switch to Nova.

Same happened to me :D Pests were leeching all but no aether and I had less than 10 in every element when aether quanta was 45+...

And about w8ing for this 1 life saving random quanta I still remember 2 fights with decay when I lost with jade shield in hand :-[ because I was waiting with 6 life quanta for 3-4 turns and towers didnt want to cooperate... and then pests took my life quanta away >:(

Doesn't it seem like your towers almost never give you 1 :entropy that first turn so you can play those 3 novas next?

I mean, in theory it's a 50% of getting one, since one tower will generate 6 quantum total, but it's much more co9mmon to get, say, 3 :light when your deck doesn't even use it. The perfect hand vs. FGs would be 1x QT (Gives you 2 :entropy and 1 :gravity), 3x Supernova (3rd to fuel it until you get more towers), 1x Otyugh, 1x Quint, then An hourglass, SoG or two, a second tower, permafrost, or something else to help you stall.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

I guess you notice the times when you NEED the quanta (to stall or such) and don't have it, because you lose or get hit for some hefy damage or whatever, but after reading this and keeping an eye on my quanta generation, i guess we just don't notice the times when you need the quanta and it's already there, because you just play the card and continue.

I have noticed quite a few times i'v needed quanta and i didn't have it, but i'm pretty sure this is 'cos of my deck being a little unbalanced rather than the RNG :D

It doesn't happen to me, because I'm not using rainbow decks. What does happen is that I don't get the pillars I need to power off-element abilities (in the case of L, that'd be the wind pillar that the pegasi need to dive).
