PvP events for the rest of the year

Hello, just want to see community’s opinion and how much interest there is in specific events. It is possible to have a war before death of flash end of this year. The events in question are Trials #14, Tpvp, War #14. Leagues will probably not run unless there is a lot of interest.

Would people participate in the said three events/what would they prefer? I guess it is possible to start Tpvp very soon, and trial signups soon after too.

Note: I'm speaking on behalf of myself and only myself here, not as a LO or part of the TrO team.

War #14 happening should, in my opinion, be top priority. The road towards it, however, is highly adaptable. War would need to start at August 15th at the very latest, ideally with signups at the start of August - the associated Trials would ideally have ended a couple of weeks earlier. Which leads to the next point - it's definitely possible to slim down Trials #14 to save time. With a full-scaled Trials #14, we'd probably need to start it around May 1st. A compressed version could be delayed until June 1st.

Leagues had a rather low amount of participants this season and that had been the trend the last year. Like w3 said, I'll probably not run a new iteration of it, as chances are it'll get eaten up by more popular events which will inevitably run alongside League.

I'm personally a huge fan of TPvP and I really want to see it happening. The same goes with other PvP Events, really. You guys know me by know - I'll probably sign up for everything anyway Let's enjoy EtG while we still can!

I think it is ok if we start War a bit later, the point is to finish until mid-December. With that I'm not sure what would be the perfect timing for Trials -
chances are I won't be able to attend.  :'(

War at the end of the year is usually a bad timing for me and this one is shaping to be particularly chaotic. I can defend in trials but odds of playing War are low.

Personally would rather not see trials or war (in original elements). Maybe tpvp after world championship, any earlier and I likely won't join.

Just saying NKOTB is not an etg event, it is an oetg event. I have no problem if people want to play oetg, it is their choice, but please
don't present it as the only option.

It's time to let go, Wyand. Elements had a good run, and so have all the popular flash games. But from the world championship thread, it's pretty clear that very few people are willing to go through the hassle of using an outdated browser or allow security problems on their machine by using outdated software that's not going to get updated anymore. And if you don't have people, you can't run official events. I'm personally not going to play oetg, but hopefully it turns out as good as its predecessor and the community will grow.

Calin, thanks for your rational post. Yes, I'm the type of guy who can really adhere to old, beloved things. As I stated I'm not against ppl playing oetg if that causing fun to them.
Also if ppl doesn't like the sluggish play of ETG (and the possible security problems), it is ok to continue in legacy.
