Title: PVP concede game

I have a simple question.
If I'm in a hopeless situation (no pillars or whatever), and decide to give up, and quit to the menu, what happens to the other player?
Will he get the rewards properly when I do that?
Will the game end, or will the AI take over the game?

It comes up with a message saying the other person quit and then the AI takes over.
