Why do you insist on assuming the worst of possible intents on my part?

Anyone can assume anything at any point and be completely wrong. I can easily assume you're defending Higurashi solely because you're infatuated with her and a sycophant. Now that doesn't make any of it true and neither does your assumption that I started this thread for the sole purpose of insulting and defaming her.

My main intent is to air my grievance which I deservedly did.

As I've stated several times already a ban during league gaming will hurt a player a lot more than any vulgarity ever could.
Every time you respond you skirt around this point.
If it's true that you say any vulgarity is an offense punishable by a ban than it should be observed so consistently. Of course, Higurashi did not ban me after I said the offending remark, she banned me several remarks after when she figured out she just didn't like my personality.

as someone who was there when you made these comments i think it was less the first comment about cocks and more calling her a "nazi" and ranting about censorship and people abusing powers when she simply asked you to not to say things like that which got you banned. Just my opinion, i could be wrong.

@atomi - That's enough with the hijacking of this thread. If you want to continue this, take it to PMs. You may also send a forum PM to Higurashi to politely inquire about the specific details (reason and length) of your ban. Just don't ban-dodge -- that just gets you permabanned.

Echoing the thoughts of Will and TFO, the only PvP that I do are for forum-hosted Events (Tournaments, Trials, War, etc.) because I don't really like duelling randoms :/

He verbally attacked me, he was very racist and called me a f***ing J boy for being jewish. It disturbed me, but not enought to stop me fromplaying pvp. He also said I would look great in a burkah even though he's never seen me before. I related this to my friend 'AngelHand' and he/she said that he/she hates those people. I feel your pain. That was only 1 of the few times it happened though. I still like pvp better than AI though.

I quite enjoy playing in pvp1.  The desyncs seem to be more frequent for whatever reason and i do run into the occasional person who tries to impress or shock me with their knowledge of certain facets of the english language, but for the most part its pretty civil and its still the fastest way to get games against a human opponent (i assume pvp2 is just as fast but i have a personal preference for using unupped cards)

Wanting to apologize is a good thing, and wounds may heal with time. If your ban is only temporary (Based on other posters thoughts, I believe it is), I strongly suggest learning your lesson and watching your language next time in chat.

Also, you're on the verge of a different topic than the one being discussed here (Rudeness in Random PvP), which is why you are being asked to take this to PMs.

PvP1/Random PvP is a an area we have little to no control over due to lack of filters, mods, or any thing of the sort.

Chat is an area where we have moderators, and they would like people to observe some basic manners like limiting foul language and avoiding very long rants all in caps.

I've wandered onto PvP1 a few times, sometimes I got an ignorant player calling me inappropriate names. However, on the bright side, there are good players there too - I remember my last PvP1 match being against a guy with a Mindgate/Lobo/Phase Shield deck with my deck being a very bad Fractal Charger variant - the guy was in a good mood all the way through (even when his Phase Shield ran out) and responded to my "gg" before the match ended.

So overall, PvP1 is a chancy gamble - sometimes you'll get a good soul, and sometimes you'll get a troll. Sadly, we can't control this.

Like Pika, will, and TFO, I rarely/never do PvP1 anymore - now that I've started playing in PvP events like League - it's a lot easier to find people willing to play with you and not cuss the whole time, as well as having built effective decks that test your own skill, or at least decks built by others you know will give you a fight

KingJelly was verbally attacked, how are we going to deal with those that can be impulsive with their language when expressing their discontent towards a particular game?
I don't agree with the racism but I feel every once in a while we should be able to curse. And I don't think bans are appropriate especially for championship league players. Some of us are grown-ups and can handle a few choice words lobbied at our direction.

But I definitely agree, the racism needs to stop.

People in champion's league are under the same rules as every other person on this forum. If you think that you are above the rules and a better person than other people because you are in CL, then you have a horrendous and downright wrong view towards these forums.

Just another voice to say that this kind of thing isn't altogether that common in the PVP wheel. Generally (and still very rarely) the only time I ever seem to hear from the other player is when something outrageously lucky happens, someone wants to rematch, or at the start of the game (either hello, or something crazy like singing the pokemon theme tune or reffering to themselves as a personified inanimate object.)

I really wouldn't let this sort of thing put any new players off using the PVP matchmaking system.

And I don't think bans are appropriate especially for championship league players.

People on CL tend to be much older than anyone on BL. That's why I'm advocating allowing some cursing (advocacy is allowable right?), and definitely not because of any of the skewed perceptions you or Bonestorm have stated.

As for your ban explanation, I completely agree with all of it. I got banned not because of the "cocks" comment but because I ranted about not being able to use the word. However when you say "you are bringing this into an area you should not be for no reason other than to help your bruised ego" - you aren't being clever or correct. I only brought it up to point out that a ban actually causes more harm and is actually much worse for a player and the league than any bad language. You don't think people would be upset about getting banned for using arbitrary words listed no where?

I'll stop discussing the ban, when you stop being disingenuous about my intentions when bringing it up. No moderator has contacted me to resolve my ban issue and I refuse to deal with Higurashi as she would be plainly biased in any decision making she does towards me at this point.
