question concerning score https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=8650.msg100455#msg100455
« on: June 25, 2010, 12:07:23 am »
I thought the score I gain is equal to the money I gain(not considering the 0-15 spinbonus).
But If you win with EM the score you get is lower.
I played vs AI5 now several times with a deck that is able to get 520 max hp. If I win with 480 hp, but without EM the score and the money gained are equal, but as soon as I win with EM I get 290electrum but only 170 score.
Why is that so?

I didn't entirely understand that, but my guess is that score depends only on winning/losing/elemental mastery, and money depends on winning/losing/elemental mastery/health.

The problem seems EM. As long as you dont get EM score and money gained are equal.

with EM:
AILvelectrumscoredifferencecost
34035510
460501015
580651520
Dont know, but the difference is always "cost-5".

it seems that score gain with EM and >100 life vs. AILv 5 is;
(life total - 100) / 4 + 65
ie say i end a game with 420 life and EM
(420 - 100) = 320
320/4 = 80
80 + 65 = 145

selenbrant - you mentioned ending with 480 life and 170 score gain.. the equation says that you would get 160 score. the equation has worked for my tests ending with various life totals from 180 to 420 life. so im not sure if it is truely accurate or maybe you mis-calculated your score gain on that particular case...?

How you can get 480 hp? With 6 shards that up 20 each you can reach max 220...but 480? i´m curious about that.

the higher ur EM health  the score stays the same as it would payout normally and cash payout is multiplied by the number of times u have the normal EM health
e.g.:
you EM an FG with 500 health remaining so u get 120(normal cash payout) times 5 as u ended with 5 times the normal max health= 120*5= 600 cash payout while ur score will increase normally what u would get from beating a normal FG with EM(100)
i think...

You don't gain 600 electrum from a false god kill if you EM with 500 hp. I just got EM on Dark Matter with 520 hp using a deck in the trainer. I got 330 electrum. This is the same amount of electrum we've been able to gain in the past using SS+SoD.

...win with EM at 520HP.
Below is a breakdown of electrum/score won on each level (I'd appreciate it if anyone can fill the 'n/a' part) :-
Level+Electrum+Score
Level 021
Level 14226
Level 26241
Level 312477
