In terms of poison decks - are scorpion decks better than the classic poison/physalia deck or the flying arsenic deck? Which has a better win rate/TTW vs AI3? Also, could anyone point me in the direction of a good poison deck to grind current AI3 with? None of the elders pack purify except one, which has five...

But I can beat both AI3 and T50 fairly consistently with it

Do you have an original thread?
I don't see the point in the chysaoras, they'll never get to use their effect.

The Chrysaora's activated ability is being powered by the Mark of Death.

Okay - so six nova help pack six poisons. Then there's still the arsenics. Maybe the chysaoras are just there for immolation bait but I don't see why you even need immolation.

Yes that is the common death rush. I find it slow for its amount of control and defense (or lack thereof). I sometimes use something similar to the rainbow posted.
Somehow still around, somewhat

I explain the rational behind the deck - I built it for the poison tourney a while back - it did pretty well in the tourney.

In the process of testing the deck I played a bunch of games against ai3 - they we're easy and went quickly. So I moved on and played a bunch against T50 again they went fast and had a solid win rate.

I'm running 3 Chyrsaora because I want one in my opening hand - but with death mark I can't really support running more than 1
I'm using the immolation because I found myself wanting a 7th nova - it is something I can use the additional Chyrsaora for - it also power the rage potion which can be hard to get enough quanta to play otherwise
The posted deck had one accidental card substitution - one chaos seed was supposed to be a mutation - which can be used for CC or on an additional Chyrsaora aswell.
The sundials buy you a little time for the poison to take effect aswell as speeding up the deck with card draw

Really this discussion has totally wandered off topic  it could go to deck help now

Looks good, thanks for the feedback.  :)

But, if I don't have 3 arsenics...?

Here is what I used unupped.

Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52r 52r 52r 52r 52r 52r 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t
I still use this deck, only upped and with a very slight variation.

Arsenic can be replaced with another pillar+dragon, or one of them for a spider.

I think the arsenics are important to the deck - that said if you're missing them cut them.

for each arsenic you pull I'd also remove a flying weapon - here are some decent cards you could replace them with.

frog - okay attack - great if upped
chrysaora - improves the odds of drawing on in your opening hand
chaos seed - extra CC is always good
fog - I really wanted to fit one into the deck anyways - this is a great use of air quanta
vampire stiletto
ash eater - cheap attacker
graboid - probably too expensive - but feel free to try it
