sort of lol. also two meanings for entropy eh? i hate two meaning words when they prove me wrong :D
There are more than 2. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropy_%28disambiguation%29)

Elements uses the 8th bullet point - Entropy (order and disorder) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropy_%28order_and_disorder%29)

Entropy is used as an increase in disorder in a closed system over time.

What you are referring to is probably the spreading of rest heat through the galaxy. In other words if the heat was spreaded equally, there would be no relative coldness or hotness left in the galaxy. That is supposed to be really bad.

I see no issue with the skeletons. They are obviously undead. Even if it was just bones, so what? Foxes and vultures and crocodiles and sharks eat everything, including the bones. Besides a mutation does not have to be biological. With a bit of imagination it can be magical.

No, the most mind boggling is, that the immortal creatures in the game die. The healing is also kind of lame. It can't remove any negative effects. What kind of doctor says: ''Hey I am going to give you more HP, but I will not do anything at all about the poison that is killing you. Come back tomorrow ok?''

But really, I don't have many issues with the game. It's obviously fantasy but not truly paradoxical. Except the gas, ok.

Edit: As for the Unstable Gas. Think of it as detonating it while you are not in it's blast range.

I don't believe any creature is immortal. they are immaterial, which is very different. there is a creature called Immortal, but that's just a name. I can call myself 'Sentinent Robot Unicorn With Chainsaws As Legs' but it sadly doesn't make me one.

i live the little flaws in the designing of elements. an example of the paradox im talking about could be: how on earth can you mutate a skeleton? and how the heck can an oty benefit from devouring one? can anyone else think of an oddity like this?

I understand what you mean. I think the way that this mythology is internally consistent is because skeletons are undead. As such, they have some sort of life force, which would include re-animated genetic material within bone marrow. Either than genetic material gets mutated, or mutation manages to mutate essence somehow, which is also how it could work on photons.

Everything is always explainable.
Any number of data points can always be generated by 1 equation. Thus, you can always create a rule, no matter how complex, that explains all of the given evidence.

For instance, if you are told not to eat ice cream, because it is bad for you, but then later are offered ice cream by that same person, there are infinite explanations that would explain all of that evidence. I will put 3 or 4 simple ones:
1) Something has changed that makes ice cream no longer bad for you.
2) The rule about not eating ice cream, was really an oversimplification of a rule "don't eat too much ice cream" or "don't eat ice cream before dinner"
3) The person telling you to eat ice cream doesn't care about your best interests.
4) That person was incorrect when they told you not to eat ice cream, and noting has changed, except for this person now has updated information.

You see? This is a human tendency called Rationalization. People like to believe that they move through life, acting, (at least most of the time), based on rational though processes. However, the vast majority of the time, people decide something based on something more like cursory though, or even instinct, and then figure out an explanation afterwards.

Here is an extremely good article on Rationalization, that I think you might like.
