oty poison problem

in real life, if you eat something poisonous, does it not poison you? i think you know where im going with this... if an oty or scarab eats a creature with a poison counter on it, shouldnt the oty itself get poisoned, or even a creature the deals poison, such as parasite, or virus. am i the only one who has seen this?

You aren't the first to suggest this. And I think it's a good idea, minus the part about creatures that can cause poison. If the target is poisoned, the devourer (not the actualy devourer creature) should be poisoned

Here in Australia we have plenty of Animals that are Immune to the Poison of the Creatures they eat. Why does Otyugh suddenly need to feel ill if the thing he ate was?

that gives me an idea, how about we get someone, probably zanz, or someone who talks to him frequently, to make stories of each of the cards, like a profile of each card or something to that extent...

i agree with kael hate jus cuz something is poisoned and gets consumed doesnt necessarily mean it will be poisoned....

Is the creature Poisonous or Venonous is the big question.

There is a difference, i believe one can be ingested safely and another cant.

venom is injected directly into the blood system, poison is consumed

So poison-creating creatures would logically be doing the poisoning.

This idea, however, lends itself toward suggesting another type of potential creature ability.  "Venom" - when the creature is devoured, the devourer is poisoned.

Actually, puffer fish and flying arsenic has "venom". But yeah, the idea is good, just needs another name.

Yeah sure, thought it might look too much like alfatoxin. "Toxic" would be even better IMO.
