Finally another victory

Hermes + Vulture + Purple Nymph pet

Used Pdials, using the vultures to bait fire bolts and less dials, since they are not useful unless he run out of explosions (which happened after he wasted them on my towers)

Don't think only requiring 3 copies is enough to stop oracle counter + splash being best method

So dumbest deck I could make gets me +3 points. Unupped/rareless doesn't give much flexibility to do much else. Maybe fast mind flayers, but unupped being fast? Good luck. You should find a way to specify this challenge in a way that stops people using oracle counter + splash
AI could've won if it'd've used Chaos Power on Psion

I agree with serprex (btw I'm just observing this out of curiosity, not at all participating) that it is too easy to just do splashes. I know that there have been decks posted @ec.org of Light Mark + Miracle splash even. Requiring 5 copies might be better.

What about at least a third of the deck must be in element with the oracle card?

I think making a third of the deck cards of the same element would make this challenge way harder. I think increasing the number of copies needed would be a better way. either 5 or 6. This makes it a lot harder to just have cards you have no intention to play and forces at least some kind of strategy. Or say that you must justify the use of your card instead of just having it and not using it.

5 is a lot of shields. I only used 4 Jade Shields vs Octane, and that's a very useful card in that matchup

How does having a third of the deck be the element of the card make things much harder? Edge cases: Other cost cards/free cards. But that could be seen as part of the challenge, and enhances it in a funner way than increasing the card requirement

Looking at deck building trends, nymphs OP because you only need 1 copy

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]

I could've at least done it with Chaos Power/Antimatter rather than blatantly copying the Oracle thread (BE for Titan & EM?). Oh well, at least the nymph didn't obviously not fit in
In case my point isn't obvious: the key problem to this all is that we're discovering why people do Mono Aether & ignore their oracle card in Bronze (in Plat they move on to Oracle bows). In the end, it's player responsibility you have to call on

I vote keep as is for 2 reasons.

1. We already have a lot of points out and making it harder makes it A LOT harder for anyone low on points or new to starting the challenge.
2. Having more copies or 10 in-element cards makes building decks so much harder with higher chance of auto-lose FG: can't really make a good bow, 10 dead cards potentially vs some FGs. example: gravity shield vs osiris.
