Pendulum or pillar/tower

i'm playing around with a few mono-decks and i'm undecided which is better pendulum or pillar?

mono decks? neither. split them half and half to decrease earthquake effectiveness. In a mono deck pillars and pendulums are the same.

what if duo-deck

In a duo deck, it is generally better IMO to use a split of pillars, but it really depends on how much quanta you need.
If you need much more of a certain type of quanta, use the pendulum of the other element.
In trio decks, I prefer picking what element you need the most of, making that your mark, and making all your pendulums the other 2.
