Events and competitions

Apart from the tournaments, it seems that there are other fun events too.
I know how to get in a tournament, but not how to participate in PvP league, PvP events, War, Forum Brawl, etc.
How do you do that?

And how do you become member of a guild?

Joining Leagues is simple: you begin playing matches with other participants.
Brawl and War are periodic, you can only join when they start (War is in progress right now, Brawl comes after that)

Other events usually have a topic for joining.

For guilds, I'm not really sure if they are open or not

Guilds are open, but will require permission from its Leader to join. You can find the list of Guild leaders here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/guilds/guild-formation-thread/

You can ask them nicely on chat or forums, I'm sure they'd be glad to have you

So if I play PvP1 or 2 or a PvP Duel, am I playing in League? If not, how does one join then?

When there is a new War or Brawl starting there will be hiring threads where you'll need to post your application, and the leaders of the teams will bid on you.

To play Leagues you will have to play League matches (duh ) You do that by going to chat and asking "Anyone for BL?" if you want to play Battle League (also called Beginners' League) - no upgrades, no shards - or "Anyone for CL?" if you want Champions' League - upgrades allowed, shards still banned.

Also, a minor thing: even if you want to address several people on different topics it's still better to keep it in on post. Double posting just wastes space
