I would appreciate If some of the more experienced forum folk would help me in this endeavor. I keep seeing posts on topics that have already been discussed. Also these topics are things that most feel would be bad for the game or Zanz already said NO. I think if a list of these topics is needed so that new people can be quickly referenced to it. Then the discussion would end, and the forum could be kept clean.

Well you can't definitively say something won't happen. Zanz can always change his mind. I think once we have someone to run the game suggestions and feedback section, they'll make a list of common suggestions.

One of the forums I ran had a "Topics that have been beaten to death" sticky that seemed to get a lot of references. I agree, something like that here would be a good thing, but it would be legitimized only if Zanz popped up on it and confirmed or denied anything/everything on said proposed thread.

Well, I'm sure that, as Demagog said, the Game Feedback & Suggestions Moderator would be able to have the authority to set up such a system.  I would think that someone with that much authority would receive enough credibility for most if not all newer players to believe and thereby know what topics not to post.  If it becomes necessary I would also believe that the mod would be able to provide evidence either from zanz himself or an equally credible source to make his/her point perfectly clear.

the person that receives the moderator job has a big task before them. Reading through a lot of old posts, doing clean up and organisation. Maybe, the rest of us could try and help in some way.

I am talking about bringing old threads back up. I know there are times when it may be necessary, but generally it is not good practice.

Yeah. General rule of thumb: If the "not posted on in 60 days" warning comes up, and it's not a sticky, don't post at all.

If moderators see thread necro, they usually lock it.

Not all necro threads are bad, but most are.  I've revived a few necro threads that contained the first post of popular decks for reference.

Yeah, that's not really as bad. What annoys me is things in general discussion being revived.
