I personally think a Level 4 AI would be a perfect solution. Quite what that might look like is a different matter. Maybe they have the stats of the FGs but unupgraded cards? And they give out approximately the same amount of gold as the FGs do now?
I enjoy that idea of how the lvl4 could work.

And I agree completely that a lvl 4 AI would be a grand solution.

Looks like I pre-empted some upcoming changes somewhat. The new Level 5 AIs appear to have 200HP, 3x mark, and a mix of upgraded and unupgraded cards. They're pretty awesome to fight, as well - well done Zanz!

That sounds great, i can beat some FG's, but level 5 would be my real level.
That's about the same as weekly top50 :)

I don't understand why you guys can't go back to the tried and true mono-aether deck. It still works against most gods and might be able to net you around 50% wins from the 50% of gods you can win against without necessarily needing full upgrades. Advantage also lies in the fact it is fast so overall you gain coins and upgraded cards at a good pace. Also just quitting without trying against those gods you have tiny chance of winning against speeds things up a bit too. This is what I did before there was sundial although admittedly I would say the gods are more difficult now.

Actually I'm pretty sure that even the nerfed version of the anti-False God rainbow has a better success rate than mono-Aether. It's pretty funny how everyone is thinking rainbow is totally useless now that Sundial got nerfed :)

I'm not saying any rainbow is useless. I'm just saying a mono-aether is probably one of the easier routes to take when one doesn't have a fully upgraded deck at their disposal and a good amount of coins to buy cards. Also, as I mentioned, one thing about mono-aether is speed if used correctly, i.e., quitting against those it doesn't work against. That makes up for some of the lower success rate you mentioned.

I don't think mono-aether would fare too well against the current lineup of gods or it could be that I'm unlucky and haven't met the easier gods for a while now. (Not that I use mono-aether but I'm just saying as an observation)

Well, some gods are still killable. I managed Obliterator (and Seism more than once).
I have trouble with the poison guys, even though i got one purify.

The lvl 5 AI thing will help, too.

yes, the game became more dificult... yes, the regular rainbow deck won't work anymore... maybe zenz did that because we were all using the exact same deck, maybe changing 2 or 3 cards... this would make us try new combinations of cards to get back to the 80% win rate... after all this was just an update, not the end of the world =P

I'm guessing you haven't even tried it since the nerf? It definitely works. Not as well as it did before the nerf but it's still hands down the best option out there.

Yea the old rainbow decks still work to some extent, but like Sacred said it's more vulnerable - it requires some planning and more or less risky decisions.

I enjoyed it before the sundial nerf. I'd have almost always all the time i need to bring out my strategy, not worrying about using my dim shields or cards at the wrong time.

But now I enjoy it much more. Many more risks, as kulssung said, need to be taken, more planning when to use your shields, when to play different cards. It's not just a mostly mindless rainbow deck that was all "chain all your sundials."
