New Passive Skill:Voodoo https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=9888.msg118055#msg118055

For anyone who hasn't been paying attention, there is a card in development (http://www.elementsthegame.com/development.html) called voodoo doll (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,9640.132/topicseen.html). The card looks cool and all, but what about its ability? Its a real kicker. Here is what i know about it so far.

Voodoo:If this creature survives an attack, damage and status are inflicted on your opponent as well.

What this means.
Cremation, and any other insta death will NOT trigger voodoo.
If a voodoo creature has 10 HP and a 12 ATK dragon kills it, your opponent receives no damage

This is a passive skill, SO:
It is not lost by liquid shadow, butterfly effect, or lobotomise.

Skills Transfered to your opponent*
Basilisk Blood transfers the delayed status to your opponents weapon
Poisoning a voodoo doll, also poisons your opponent
When voodoo doll takes damage due to poison, even though your opponent already receives poison damage, your opponent will also receive the damage the voodoo creature receives from it.
Congeal freezes the weapon
Epinepherine does NOT give your opponents weapon adrenaline
Healing does NOT heal your opponent.
TU a doll, the difference between its max HP and current HP are dealt to opponent as damage (thanks to twinbuster for noting)
Quint doesnt doing anything.

*For skills that effect weapons, the opponent must have already played the weapon. Even if the creature with voodoo is destroyed, the weapon must wait for the freeze or delay to wear out.

nice thread
You should add more detail about healing and poison cumulatiive damage

also if you TU a doll, the difference between its max HP and current HP are dealt to opponent as damage

As far as I know, passive skills are not obtainable through mutation. The only exception is if you mutate the creature that naturally has that passive ability. A mutant devourer has its passive ability, for instance, even if it's mutant power is deja vu (the copy would also have the devourer passive ability).

Also, TU'ing an injured doll inflicts damage to the opponent equal to the difference between the doll's maximum health and its current health.

Might want to note that as a Passive Skill, it cannot be Lobotomised and is not lost to Butterfly effect.

But if you use Gravity Pull on a Doll, the damage is dealt to your opponent and the doll. So, you are safe while your opponent practically attacks himself.
