Need help with automatic new member welcoming PM

I'm installing this plugin that will send an automatic PM to all the new members when they join the forums. Now we should decide what to put in that PM.

I'm thinking it should have a very short "Welcome to this community" type of paragraph and then some short tutorials and links on how to use this community. It would basically be like a mini-FAQ for new members.

One example would be that you have to have 30 posts before you get and avatar image.

What other ideas you have?

Just reply to this post or PM me if you want to give your ideas incognito. Ready-made text is preferred as I can just copy-paste it but ideas are fine too.

Related to this, we are probably soon going to have that welcoming section that people have suggested. But first I just have to figure out where to put it.

Also having a list of the Masters, Ronin and Mods may help so people know where to go for help. And the links to Newbie help.

You would also want a Group photo of all the Dragons hanging out at the Tea Shack.. I will see if I can get them together for this.. now where did that Obsidian Dragon go...

We have two choices:

Option 1. We will a "PM Guy" who will stay online 24/7, waiting for people to join. When he sees someone join, he then instantly sends him a PM.

Option 2. I will install a plugin that does it automatically like I explain there in my first post.
