Some of you may be familiar with a Spanish television show called
Juegos Internacionales, which interviews players from various games in front of a live audience. A couple months ago, I called the producers of the show to try to get an interview. They rejected the offer, at first, because Elements was a very small game, and most of their fans had never heard of it. They instead chose to interview a Hearthstone player called Andrew. But on the day before the interview, Andrew was paralyzed in a salt mine collapse, and Juegos Internacionales needed to find someone else. The producers called me back, and I rushed to the airport and flew to Spain. I managed to get to the interview just in time.
I talked about how Elements was a great game with many different cards and strategies, and how it didn’t give any advantages to players who spent money on it. I told the audience about the forums, and all the different events and competitions. The host seemed especially interested in War, and he was very excited to hear that I had been on the winning team!
Although the interview footage is still being edited for the show, Juegos Internacionales has been kind enough to release a short clip from the interview. In this video, I discuss my top-secret strategy for winning War. There are captions in English, for those of you who do not speak Spanish. Enjoy!
