The answer to declining forum activity is not declining forum quality.
I'd have thought that being rude and dismissive to a newbie excited about playing the game was a post of a lower quality than a newbie excited about playing the game posting about how excited they are by playing the game.
Congratulation, though (small suggestion) rather than start a thread next time something awesome happens, maybe go to the chat and express your excitement there?
Yes, I can see how dismissive and rude I was right there. I was so condescending and just nasty about the thread, wasn't I? /sarcasm
Listen, all I was trying to do was keep us from having a new thread everytime someone has something cool occur. we actually have 3-4 threads already set up for cool things happening, and the chat is not only a better place for such things due to minimizing these threads, but also a way for someone to get instant gratification and feed back. Everyone wins.
