Steam Machine + Anti-matter? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=10393.msg127531#msg127531

If you anti-matter a steam machine with, say, 10 charges on it, its now a -10/15 creature, with 10 +1/+0 charges on it, correct? So next turn it would drop to a -11/15 if they did not use the ability? Or am I mistaken

Try it out in trainer with 100x quanta and those cards.
It solves a lot of questions.  ::)

Steam Machine will NOT lose a charge if its attack is 0 or lower.. In fact, if you use its ability at -10|0, it will bounce up to -6|0, and will NOT lose a charge. Next time you use it, it will be at -2|0, then 2|0 (where it finally loses a charge and goes to 1|0).

Thanks for the answer.

Actually I just ended up using it against Destiny (Anti-matter + Liquid Shadow) against Steam Machine. Treats it as if he were any other creature with 12/15 stats. He is at -12, vampiring damage, and life going down by 1 one per turn.

He actually doesnt lose attack with just LS on either, since it removes his ability. If you lobo a steam machine, it stays at the attack level its currently at. While this sounds nice, it also cant grow anymore so it has limited actual use. Just a kinda nice bonus if someone lobo's your machine :P.
