Why does gravity pull count as a shield for momentum? Because when I put gravity pull on the enemy creatures and I have sapphire chargers out, they don't attack. Please help me.

just think of momentum as direct damage equal to that creatures attack to the opponent.

Ive been annoyed by this from day one more or less. Veterans have always said "Gravity pull is a shield effect" which to me is bull.

I think the only decent argument supporting momentum bypassing GP is that the creature literally has the momentum (speed) to go past the gravitational force that pulls them toward the creature with GP status. Regardless, I think Gravity Pull should be a hard counter to momentum, period. It says it is plain damage redirection, so if a creature would deal its damage to you, it should be redirected to the GP'd creature no matter what.

I really wish it were so.

Everything can be countered in a few ways. The only counter to momentum is antimatter, and that's too expensive and just from entropy. Adding gravity pull as another counter/defense to momentum would make it more balanced imho.

Plus a funny side-note:  You can throw out creatures against Obliterator and not worry when he casts Gravity Force on them, because his first few creatures he will cast Unstoppable on.   :P

Also, Antimatter can't do anything against Fractal Quinted Chargers. xD That makes Gravity Pull + Angel heals the only potential counter.

Making a card that is commonly used in gravity decks a counter for another card commonly used in gravity decks is a great idea.  :P
